As tradition dictates, the aroma of freshly baked bread will fill the valley of Galdames once again on 24 December. The town in Enkarterri will celebrate a new edition of Ogi Eguna (Bread Day), where artisan bread takes centre stage on Christmas Eve morning.

Organised by Galdames Town Council, Ogi Eguna brings together around thirty stalls in Plaza San Pedro every year. Visitors can sample traditional talo, rosquillas, Basque cake, and various types of loaf, as well as enjoy demonstrations by local artisans specializing in pottery, basketry, and wood carving.
